Rocks & Roots – Amazing View!

Great hike! There were a lot of roots while hiking in the trees, but once the trail was above the tree line, they weren’t a problem. Trail above the tree line was good other than some loose rocks. Weather was beautiful; barely a breeze even at top. Got to summit around 1145 am and there all these butterflies flying around. It was unexpected and very cool. There was also a lot of hikers! Get there early, before 8am to get a parking spot. View is amazing, you can see forever.
