Rose Peak Ramble

Took on Rose Peak via Sunol on Oct 24. It’s a long one, but the scenery and solitude more than make up for the grind. This route really gives you a sense of how remote and wild the East Bay can feel. The trail was in good shape, and while it didn’t have the same dramatic peak vibes as Diablo or Tam, the rolling hills and quiet ridgelines had a charm of their own. Definitely one of the more underrated hikes of the challenge.
