San G III: From South Fork TH

My third time up San G and second taking the South Fork-Dollar Lake-Dry Lake Loop.  Unfortunately, I was underprepared for the hike having failed to do recent high elevation, high elevation gain hikes and found myself more physically and mentally fatigued than any hike I’ve undertaken in the past, including a Mt. Whitney day hike.  Nonetheless, it was an incredible experience.  Very few people on the trail.  A few more fallen trees over the trail than I would have suspected or liked.  However, beautiful views and colorful meadows.  Always an exhilarating experience!!!
