Shasta The Beautiful

It was an exciting early winter wonderland. I had to refer to my alltrails app many times to be able to stay on course. I saw 3 landmarks. Mountain View, Cabin, and Stream. Getting to Helen Lake got more difficult due to the snow conditions. When it became too much of going back to the app, I needed to turn around. The climb was getting to difficult and I didn’t want to run out of battery on my phone. It’s incredible how fast parts of the trail became visible going back. It was beautiful view of Mount Shasta.
