It was an amazing day to be outside, albeit a little on the warm side for my liking.
Temperatures were in the high 70s, and It was a little buggy in the usual spots, but not as bad as expected for such a warm (winter) day.
The trail was surprising dry, considering recent rainfall totals, and how much shade this route provides.
It was a reasonably clear day, providing great views of several other SixPack Peaks, as-well as Santa Catalina and San Clemente Islands.
The trail traffic was light, as expected.
I like to do my hikes mid-week, whenever possible, for that reason.
No offense to other hikers, I just really enjoy the solitude.
