It was a day to remember! Going to the peak was fine, but the journey down was very difficult. icy patches were numerous, and treacherous. I needed crampons, as I fell numerous times on my bottom!
We hiked from sunrise to sunset. Just made it out in time to get to our car, before dark.
It was a beautiful day on top. no clouds no wind could see the grand canyon, warm. It was perfect
