Peak #1 for 2021 in the bag.

Cucamonga Peak.  Left at daybreak, and finished well into the afternoon spending an hour at the peak and a slow pace.

Overall, the trail is in good condition.  Although some parts are worn due to snow and snowmelt.

You first encounter snow/ice around halfway to Icehouse Canyon Saddle.  It’s intermittent all the way up to the saddle.  This part was pretty easy, you don’t need special equipment like crampons.  But it does help.

After the saddle, snow becomes more prevalent, but it’s snow/slush with little ice.  Crampons help, but if you are very careful, you can do without.  But it’ll be quite a workout and extend your hike time quite a bit.

With the rains coming, I’d think it is going to dump a bunch more snow, so conditions could change quickly.  I would suggest crampons and trecking poles as a must.

Here is a video I took of the entire hike up in case you want to know the exact conditions and how much snow there is up there.
