Stairs with a View

The incline was a hike we had been well prepped for. We were told to bring plenty of water and snacks, despite this being the “shorter” of the 6 trails. This incline was intimidating when standing at the bottom and the idea of “just climbing stairs” can be deceiving. We made frequent stops ever hundred steps or so to catch our breathe, grab a drink, and then went right back to it! I made it to the summit in an hour and 22 mins. We had time to enjoy the view from the top and then took the scenic view down. We began this hike about 11:30 and were down by just around 1!
