This was a great hike and fantastic way to start 2021!
Parking in the area was crowded, but the trail wasn’t. I’ll take an extra .5 mile walk to the car for parking over a busy trail any day.
The weather was fantastic. Snow on the ground got a little slushy at times, but I personally didn’t need micro spikes.
All in all, just over 8 miles out and back to the car and almost 2,000 feet in elevation gain.
