Strawberry Peak – A Delayed Post

This is a delayed post for a hike that I did in May. Life got in the way and I realized that I did not post it.

This was my third time (I think?) hiking Strawberry Peak, but this marked the first time I saw a rattlesnake while hiking. It decided to throw me a surprise party with a mile left. I walked down the trail and heard an aggressive movement from the bush behind me and then a rattle. It only appeared for a few seconds (a good distance behind me at this point) and then took off.
