sunrise at Welch and Dickey

This was a great hike with awesome views. Still had some pretty foliage although slightly past peak. We wanted to get a view for sunrise, we got there a little late but donned our headlamps and started up. We got to first viewpoint and it was somewhat cloudy but the sun was coming up behind the mountains. Pretty but not the colors we were hoping for. Loved all the great views of surrounding mountains and we stopped frequently to take pictures.  The weather was perfect, a little cool to start but warmed up nicely. The hike had many granite slabs, we had nice dry weather thankfully since  it would have been difficult to hike on wet slabs of rock. Would definitely hike this again.
