We started out with blue skies and very little mud but the rain and sleet start about 2/3 of the way up and didn’t stop until about 2/3 of the way down. Unfortunately we were unable to see the beautiful views but there is always next year. The trail did turned very muddy and slippery on the way down. We did see some wild flowers, butterflies and deer. It’s always a fun hike.
