We got to the trailhead at 9:45 and there are plenty of cars but we found a parking with no problem. The trail is well marked and this hike has tons of switchbacks. There are areas that are shaded but it is still a great idea to start early. There are some downed trees but passable and the last mile of the hike has patches of snow. Some people walk over the snow but my husband and I do not feel safe doing so. We opted in cutting the switchbacks which makes the ascent very steep but not dangerous. I also recommend bringing a head net especially its getting hotter and the bugs are out. I probably swallowed a couple of them cause I kept on talking lol(ewww!). Lastly, I was bummed that someone took the american flag that is usually at the summit but fun hike nonetheless.
