The Grand Finale

It was a great hike! Weather was perfect – nice and sunny, but not too hot or cold. At the top of Gray’s it was a bit windy and cold, but otherwise no complaints. Saw loads of pikas, a marmot, and a couple mountain goats.

The trail is very clear to follow, and doesn’t require any scrambling to get anywhere.

It’s easy to get to, the dirt road is just off the I-70. It’s a bump road with some rocks, I’d recommend doing it with high clearance but I was able to go in my Subaru Legacy while driving very carefully.
