Certainly one of the more challenging day hikes I’ve been on.  It’s a beautiful state park.  No views of any civilization. Wild flowers were blooming and the old oak trees kept us company during the day.  Lunch break at the bench before the summit and a snack at the river before the climb out.  We did the loop route.  Maybe saw two people the entire day.
