Took the opportunity to summit Mt Baldy while hiking the TRT. This side of the lake is dry, and vegetation is extremely different compared to the west or south side. This view of the lake is fabulous.
This side quest was accomplished in the early days of the TRT and the 0.1mile detour was totally worth it.
