Today was a hot one at Belknap Crater. The lava rock really intensified that. Still a very beautiful trail. This was our second peak of the day. Going up to the Crater at the end was steep and sandy, but well worth it for the views. There were a ton of bugs and they were throughout the trail. There were small patches of snow. This I enjoyed and used as a way to cool down here and there.
