Two Hours Before Pick Up

I had a pickup in Burlington at 11:30 and it is 2:45 drive to get there. So, I woke up bright (dark) and early to squeeze in a hike before my scheduled pickup.
Got to Burrows trailhead at 7:30 and found myself enjoying the views from the summit at about 8:30. Spent some time at the summit and headed down to be back at the car by 9:30, which meant I had time to swing into REI before my pickup, YAY!

The trail was great if a bit soggy. I’ve never been up Camel’s Hump, so this was a nice introduction to the mountain. I like that the grade was steady with no major steep climbs or a bunch of slabby pitches to deal with. So, three down, three to go and 2 more planned for this weekend. Onward and upward, until you have to go back down…
