Followed advice of others and went counterclockwise and we were glad we did. It is a steady, constant walk up, mostly gradual and very beautiful along the King Canyon trail. The loop down was rockier and not nearly as pretty. Glad we did the loop for the full effect, but if we did this hike again we’d come back down King Canyon. Great workout and gorgeous views!
