Welcome 2023 atop Volcan Mt.

Great beautiful mountain. We chose to do the Five Oaks Trail, which connected back to the main trail. I feel like it was an easier hike up this way. As soon as we reached the open fields past the oak trees, it seemed like we were in a real life Zelda Breath of the Wild map. Trail was very quiet, we started around 8:30. By the time we were on our way down (around 10 am) there was much more traffic. It’s a popular and busy trailhead. First SPOP of the year in the bag!
