Perfect Arizona fall day. Cool in the shade warm in the sun. The sky was blue as a topaz.
Trails always starts the same when you come from the valley to elevation. It takes a minute to regulate your breathing. Once you get going, you start noticing the beautiful small oaks, then comes the aspens, ponderosa pines. Breathtaking.
The most disappointing part of the trail is the last half mile. Side by sides, cars, walking on a dirt road.
