It was a beautiful but windy day on the Volcan hike today. The 5 Oaks trail is much better than the fire road since it single track and has more of a forest feel. At the Summit, you can see the postal beacon and a relaxing bench with amazing views. The trail had some muddy parts but easy to go around. This hike was not difficult and was a great family outing….enjoy.
