Windy Day on Nebo

Hiked this for my birthday and probably the last weekend before the snow started to fall. The wind was absolutely insane and bitter cold.  I wasn’t sure I would make it!  The cold killed my phone battery, so unfortunately no photos after the false summit.  With how strong the wind gusts were and how numb my hands were, I don’t know that I would have taken many anyway.   I honestly hated the last push to the summit.  It took a lot to finish, but I made it and don’t think I’ve even been so happy to finish a hike.  I think I’ll enjoy it better if I do it again with a little warmer weather.  The fall leaves were just past their peak, but still beautiful.
