Windy saddle on Horseshoe Mountain

I had Horseshoe Mountain completely to myself. It was both eerie and serene. Beautiful bluebird skies but man was it windy at the saddle. I was so glad I had my puffer jacket and shell pants. I don’t know if I would have continued otherwise. Went over to Peerless mountain on the descent and may have even done Mt Sheridan had it not been so windy. Overall beautiful hike given how rocky and above tree line it is. Saw some old mine remnants too.
