The Mailbox is about four feet down in a hole in the snow, which made for fun pictures! We were the first ones to summit and hung out by ourselves for about 15 mins. It was the weather that drove us out as the wind and cold were too much! We were socked in for most of the hike and happy we brought crampons and poles.

Old Trail is crazy steep but a beautiful forest hike none the less. We took the New Trail split on the way down and that was like a walk in the park in comparison.
