Maiden Peak sits just north of Willamette Pass near O'Dell Lake. The summit is at 7,805 feet, and can hold snow well into July.
We'll be taking the Maiden Lake Trailhead from the east, climbing to the summit, then adding a short detour to Maiden Lake on our way back down.
Total mileage is ~10 miles with 3,000 feet of vertical gain. You can find GPS details from my previous hike on this trail here.
The Maiden Lake Trailhead is ~1 hour 20 min. drive from Bend. If you would like to carpool, leave a comment in the discussion.
Maiden Peak is part of the Central Oregon Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge.
