We started a bit later than we wanted…7:30 am. It hot very hot. The climb was amazing. I LOVE a good steep incline on the way up….not so much on the way down. When we do this route again, we will take this same trail up but go back down the longer and less steep route (Devil’s Backbone). This was our first time actually hiking this mountain. For the last 10 years I have run this mountain “The Mount Baldy Run to the Top” event, so it was so nice being able to take our time and enjoy the views from a different perspective. Mount Baldy will always have my heart and I am so happy to have completed my challenge ending with this beautiful mountain 🏔️❤️
