We arrive to the trail head at 7:00 am and the gate is not open yet.  Around 8:00 am, someone opens the gate for us. For the first two miles, there is some incline.  After that, it is nice to hike thru some snow.  It is nice to hike this trail since there is not a lot of people hiking.  We feel like we walk on our private road.  The weather was around high 30 and low 40 which is great for hiking .  The scenery is beautiful.  To the end of the trail, we have to climb ladder and rock to get to the top.  At the top, the view is beautiful.  All around, there is mountain from Palm Spring, Salting Sea etc.  I enjoy this trail very much and would like to come back again.
