Kendrick was the first peak I started. It was also the 51st hike of of my 52 hike challenge. It definitely starts off as a challenge as the first 2 miles we’re steep incline. Great workout for the calves though. Beautiful trail, that was flat and free of brush. Traffics was low to none. Began at 7:30am and Only passed 3 hikers on their way down. Portions of the trail levels out so it gives your legs a rest but towards the end, it definitely gives you a work. At the look out station, there were incredible views all around, including the Grand Canyon. Great first hike for the 6 Peak challenge
