A deceiving hike.  I had forgotten how you have about 3 good climbs before you get to Strawberry.  In my opinion, winter is the only time to hike Strawberry because you are definitely exposed to the elements. My hubby hated it.  Intermittent snow on the trail but no need for spikes at the time we went. Probably my least favorite hike on the list so got it out of the way early.
