2nd hike complete in the series (3rd if I count Mount Woodson which we did without realizing it was an alternate peak 🤣). The trail was fine but very narrow. Long pants and long sleeves were very helpful to avoid scratches – but it got pretty warm so had to decide between the lesser of two evils, being hot or getting scratched. Trekking poles were helpful, especially on the downhill portions. It was a beautiful view from the top and loved watching the golden eagles (I think) soaring on the wind.
At 62 and recently getting into shape, I'm proud of myself for taking on this challenge and am looking forward to reaching the rest of the peaks!
