Another toasty Saturday in LA seemed like the perfect day to hike up Cucamonga peak and nearby Ontario peak. The hike was relatively cool in the morning as we hiked up a few thousand feet through the tree covered terrain. Cucamonga is a tough one, it gets steep towards the end with the many switchbacks! The views from the top are spectacular… Or would be if the sky wasn't full of smoke from the nearby fires! We still enjoyed getting to the top and the exposure this peak provided. Can't wait to do it again in the future – this is a great training hike!
