Skipped the incline and went up Barr Trail. Only downside is you gotta move aside for all the runners coming down from the incline but you don’t need reservations!   Once passed the  incline trail gets a little thin once you get off the double track.  Didn’t attempt to scramble up the last rock to stand by the board. Great views of Pikes on top.

  1. Awesome job, Douglas! I too am thinking of skipping the incline altogether and tackling good old Barr Trail. Did you park in town and shuttle in or parked for a hefty amount near the trailhead?

    1. We parked in the incline parking- said it was good for 4 hours so keep that in mind. I think the Barr lot is 25 for all day
