This was SoCal 6POP hike #2 and a return to Baldy (and West Baldy) to recover a survey marker on West Baldy that I could not find on my last trip due to snow cover.

I hiked up the road to the Notch and took the Devil's Backbone across to Baldy, it was a great trip, and I ended up recovering the survey marker I was looking for!

Having spent more time at the summit than anticipated, I hiked back over the backbone to the Notch and took the Ski Lift down (it was my first time on a ski lift!) It saved some wear and tear on my knee and was a fun ride down.
