Hike #5 on my SoCal 6POP list and a return to San Jacinto to recover the San Jacinto Azimuth Mark. I had attempted San J in late September via the Devils Slide Trail; however, I had received my Covid Booster, and Flu shot the day before, and I underestimated the effect that two immunization would have on my ability to complete a strenuous hike. I had turned around a few miles short of the summit with vertigo and lightheadedness.

Today's trip was on a familiar trail and a good hike; I turned off the trail at the saddle beneath the summit to have lunch and find the San Jacinto Azimuth Mark.

It was windy and cold at the summit, and since I had already recovered all the survey marks there, I stayed long enough to get a few summit pics and then headed down.
