My friend and I have been to Sawmill Mountain a few times. Our hike this week, on January 9 2025, was cold and windy but very peaceful. We enjoyed the trail to ourselves and talked about our goals for the upcoming year, the 2025 Peak Challenge being a big one for both of us. There was no snow on the trail and no rain/snow. The weather was in the 40s but felt colder with the wind chill. We love this hike and will be back! Each experience was unique and beautiful and this time was no different. Praying for everyone affected by the fires in California. So grateful to be safe and able to appreciate natures beauty.
