This was our second attempt at strawberry peak, the first the attempt  we missed the entrance to the trailhead marked by small rocks forming an arrow which is very easy to miss. the temperatures were extremely hot and there is no shade. So we made a wise decision to turn back and try it again which we summited our 2nd attempt. It is very exposed for The Last Mile and extremely steep. Make sure you bring plenty of water.
