We started this one late (2;30pm), so it was already sunset when we reached the peak (5pm).  I was impressed at the support at the top to find the ‘peak'.  Once you get to the lookout tower, you just follow the pink tape along the trail to find the boulder that has an aluminum ladder, climbing ropes, and even an emergency ammo can with some granola bars in it.  The climb to the top of the boulder was challenging, and even more so coming down…so be careful if you choose to find the actual ‘peak' at the top of the boulder.  But because we were so late, the rest of our hike down was in the dark.  But with 50% illumination from the half moon, we didn't need to use flashlights the whole way down, and had a great night hike with the stars.
