Hiked with my nephew Kenta. We backpacked to High Creek Camp the day before and hiked the peak early morning on the 4th of July. The hike from camp to the summit was not that difficult and the altitude did not affect me much, but the backpacking to High Creek Camp with a 40 pounds backpack and the last 1.5 miles of the hike down to the parking lot were the hardest parts of this trip.
