Did this hike last year, but must not be in as good shape cause it whooped me on the way up, especially the last two miles of Quarry and Black Mountain trails!  There was a mountain lion sighting just ahead of me near the top, around 8-830am, so make sure you’re being safe and aware of your surroundings up there.  Very clear and pretty day, cold and windy at the top.  Clear views of four of the other peaks, Mt Umunhum, Mt Diablo, Mt Tamalpais and Mission Peak.  With binoculars, and if you know where to look, I guess it could’ve been possible to see Mt St Helena, who knows!????????‍♂️  Took a wrong turn on my way down and ended up in Wild Cat Canyon and out by the farm, so ended up taking a little over 14 miles to complete the hike and over 3400ft of elevation, which is good, I guess, since Mt Diablo is next!
