This hike was definitely different than Mount Wilson. The beauty of water, snow, rocks and tree stumps added adventure and challenges we needed to overcome to reach the summit. Clothes layering paid off since it was only 47 degrees when we first started but heated up quickly as we made our ascent up the mountain. Reaching the summit was definitely the highlight of the day but not before we took a very offline trails where we needed to backtrack. The view is spectacular! We got a glimpse of some of our up coming climbs as we relaxed in the beauty of nature.
