Mount Wilson

January 26th, 2020

3 take aways from this hike; and then some:

  1. Rest in peace Kobe Bryant. It still hit me when a person asking for my parking spot broke the news to me.
  2.  I hiked with my friends and we did awesome! It is a long hike, but we all made it to the summit. That is always a success.
  3. Debris on the trails were more notable than I hiked here last year, a lot of fallen trees and branches makes it so that you have to go around the trail.

Extra notes:

  • I started at 630am, summited around 10am, finished around 1140am.
  • It was getting crowded towards the end of the day, this is typical when I hike here since it is next to los angeles. Make sure you get here early.
  • There was no snow on trail. There was a patch of snow at the very top, just to take pictures with it and say there was snow haha.
