While reading the All Trail reviews for this hike, I noticed consistent comments on how muddy and wet the trail always is because many parts of it are a stream that flows down from the mountain, henceforth it’s name.
So naturally, being the genius I am, I decided to do this hike in the rain. Thankfully the rain did not go beyond a moderate drizzle from time to time on the way up. Even though the rain did stop when I reached the summit, I was disappointed to be greeted by a thick fog blinding me from the awaited views.
I waited at the top for about an hour hoping the clouds would start to break up, and fortunately my patience paid off as the fog finally started to fade away, granting me the views I’ve been hoping to see.
That is now two peaks completed, 4 left to go!
