We hit this as a sunset hike! The bugs were in abundance but just annoying, no biting. The views were amazing the whole way. The trail got a little skinny with the overgrown brush, so wear pants and/or long sleeves if you don’t like the brush brushing up on you. We were the only ones on the trail the whole time, so peaceful! We made it to the peak with 2 hours until sunset, so we stayed and enjoyed the complete quite. As the sun was setting, the FULL moon was rising!! Absolutely amazing!
