We're veterans of Mt. Wilson but had never ventured up to its northern neighbor. What a treat! Strawberry Peak is a great length for a leisurely day hike, but the last mile of climbing still gives you a good challenge. The weather was perfect, I was glad to be able to get out of the house to enjoy this winter heat wave we're having. Lots of friendly hikers on the trail with a few dogs, but it never felt overly crowded, at least not for Southern California. Overall it was a great way to kick off the 2022 Six-pack challenge!
