Sitton Peak is  my first hike. I was on the process of deciding whether I was going to join this challenge or not. My husband and I drove 3 hours down South to the area from where we lived. It was a nice weather, not too cold,  when we started at the trailhead at 8 o'clock in the morning. The parking lot was full, there was only about 5 left when we parked. The trail was busy, super busy. I personally enjoyed the first couple miles of the trail. The last quarter mile was a surprise, glad that I took my poles. I couldn't imagine going down that part without poles. The view at the top was very beautiful – 360-degree view of Southern California. We were sitting at one of a quiet spot, and there I decided to take this Six-Pack of Peaks Hike challenge.
