Headed out early since it was gonna be a hot day and sure glad we did. It started warming up by 8! This was our first major hike so it was challenging especially the last mile. The few false peaks kept getting my hopes up that when I reached the summit I was still unsure if we had reached the top. Thank goodness people left signs behind that confirmed we had achieved our goal (and the lone hiker who got there before us.)
