Planned to spend the night Saturday, but decided not to and it turned out good I didn’t because of a hailstorm and lightning. Started Sunday morning at 5:33am and the conditions were glorious! I little cold to start, but moving fixed that. I did this peak to finish off the 6 Pack five years with a overnighter. And since this year it could but happen I knew it would take lots to put in so much intense work in one day, but I was up for the challenge cause that’s his I roll! Let’s just say I won’t wait 5 years. I’ll be back next year, but you don’t get to kick my ass more than once a year😳 Five years ago is a blur or maybe I tried to throw it outta my mind. This hike squeezed everything outtah me and forced me to take some breaks, which I never do. I was determined to not repeat what happened on the assent so I pulled out my own can of whip ass on the desert and slayed it, shaving off 2 hours. I’m happy to be done and looking forward to some gentle winter hikes😌
