Good, well marked trail.  Up to a half dozen fallen trees cross the trail.  Last 2 or 3 miles trail almost completely covered with snow and very difficult.  The west ridge has much less snow and can be climbed but it is off-trail.  I have never seen such a beautiful carpet of manzanitas in my life.  We ascended through the foggy, overcast morning into a clear blue sky about 6:30 am.  We found our first snow about 8117 feet altitude about 3.4 miles into the trail.  I lost my phone near the summit and had to go back and find it.  Thanks to God, WE FOUND IT! Robert Walter called my phone number until he spotted it.
