The white ceanothus are in full bloom and the purple ones are showing themselves as well although they seem to be later starters.

Such a beautiful day, if not a bit too hot given how cool this past week was.

This is my first time the “long” way and I found it beautiful mostly because of the flowers and the views. I didn’t expect so much lilac and it was a lovely surprise.

Saw a lizard so involved in its bug buffet that it didn’t even bother to rush off the trail when it saw me. Also saw a guy climbing up with heavy dumbbells, and I just hope he’s ok…
